Girls Night Out!

It was a blast! And judging by the events of the last 48 hours I will need another one VERY soon! I posted the pics and video from it on myspace, but for those of you who don't have access here are a few highlights.

Hot Yoga- UPDATE

I have started doing hot yoga. And when I say hot boy do I mean it. The room is 105° and 40% humidity, so even if you just sit there you sweat your ASS off. I LOVE IT!! The first day was rough, it's 90 minutes and 26 different postures and I was only able to do about 18 of them. Not very well, mind you. But when class was over I was full of energy and felt awesome! I was starving too, but only ate a salad and was full. That's not even the exciting part. I lost 3.4 lbs and kept it off. It's now been 3 days and it's still gone! I go again at 8pm tonight and am very excited to see what happens.

In the meantime, I have to go grocery shopping. I'll update if I lose anymore weight after class.

Well Class #2 was awesome as well, just as hard but this time I was able to do 1 more pose then Sunday! I'm down 1 more pound too. I'll check in the morning and see if there is a difference and then again when I get home from work...I'm exhausted now though so it's bedtime.

Scary resemblance

I once dated this very odd looking man just because my mom hated him and a friend of mine liked him, but he liked me instead...The things we do when we're 15. Well the other day I'm watching Blades of Glory with John Heder and Will Ferrell and all of a sudden the character played by John Heder (Jimmy MacElroy) looks a lot like this ex...So I dug up a picture of the person who me and my BFF nicknamed BIG BIRD and decided to do a side by side comparison.

It's scary to me what I dated just to make my mom mad, and creepy that someone famous looks a LOT like him. What do you think?

Nursing school

Since I am having the worst time getting class schedules to fit my schedule I am biting the bullet and doing individual courses to get my RN. I start my psychology classes on April 14. I am going through RIO SALADO because they are part of the maricopa county college system and are one of the top 10 schools that are accredited for Nursing. I am going to get this damn degree and I don't care how I need to do it, I've been to laid back with it and now I am tired of letting everyone else (other the Gavin of course) come before me...IT IS MY TURN TO DO WHAT I WANT IN LIFE DAMNIT! The classes will be online so I won't need to go to a physical classroom except for a few final exams but I can schedule that. This is how I need to do it so be it. It should only take me 6 months tops to get the pre-requsite classes done. By 2010 I should be wearing the pin!
