I was reading the news yesterday and NASA just got some new incredible pics from some of their space telescopes and I thought I would share some with you.

The Helix Nebula, dubbed by some the Eye of God because of how it resembles a human eye

White Dwarf, the final stage of a dying star, the bright white center is the star and the colors around is the gasses being explelled from the center

For the Star Wars fans out there, the Death Star Galaxy. Scientists say that if what happened to the star in this picture happened on the Milky Way the Earth would cease to exist.


And finally
The Crab Nebula. This is what is left from a Supernova (an explosion from a star dying) that happened in 1054. Chinese and Arab Astronomers recorded seeing the supernova in the sky during the day. This would mean it was the most powerful Supernova explosion recorded to date.
