We went to Tucson this past weekend. Mike had drill and it was our 7 year anniversary. So the 3 of us packed up and went to the land of ONE grocery store again. It was not a good weekend to go. It was icky weather wise and Gav was sick (103 temp almost all weekend but no antiboitics as it was viral). So the 2 of us stayed in the room all day Saturday and watched tv and read books and napped while daddy was at work. Sunday since we had to check out while Mike was still working we decided to take a field trip to the Pima Air & Space Museum. Gavin LOVED going and looking at all the planes and parts. We got there around 10 and left at 2 and had only seen about 1/2 of what they have. We went back after Mike got done work and spent another 2 hours walking around and STILL didn't see everything.
They had pretty much every plane and part you could think of to look at and a TON of displays and model aircraft. They had a memorial for the 390th Bombardment group that lost a bunch of members. They had JFK's Air Force One. Even an SR71 Blackbird that you could get right up to and check out the engine and everything. Not to mention a whole hanger for WWII planes. And that was only what we got to see. We will definately go back one day and spend the whole day going through there. Here are some pics from the day, we took over 300 these are some favorites. Enjoy!

That's very cool! We'd love to get down there to see it! We almost went once when we were in Tucson visiting Eric, but went to Old Tucson Studios instead. I want to see the rest of the pics!
Well written article.
